I’ve been blogging since I was 19, back when Friendster was more famous than Facebook, Instagram was non-existent and I was a carefree student living life.
So much has happened since then and to sum it up – Friendster has ceased to exist, America had their first African American President to lead the country, and me? I am a wife and a mother, working to earn a living in this world :)
It hits me recently how fast time flies and I really want to capture and put in writing some parts of my life in my blog.
Choosing what I personally feel is worth sharing is not really an easy decision. There is so much sharing in this world today, that there is such thing as sharing “just for the sake of sharing”. I hope I will be able to share for a bigger purpose – words and stories that inspire me, lines that tickle me and incidences that have eventually helped me grow.
Recently, I also started The TRUE Women to let others share their stories with the rest of the world. If you have a story to tell, be a contributor at The TRUE Women and make a change in someone’s life with your story. You’d be surprised how your story could benefit others in more ways than you imagine possible!
You see, I grew up wanting to change the world and now that I’m a grown up, I still struggle to change my life! But I still want to be that person who inspires hope and affects change – no matter how small. Because at the end of the day, I tell myself that I am neither perfect nor good. I am only learning to be a better person each day.
And this is my story.
