The Thing I Miss Most About Melbourne

....Is my independence. The ability to move around without depending much on the help of others.

I miss being able to walk to the closest Safeway just because I need a bottle of milk. Or buy a bag of groceries for dinner. Or check out the Safeway boys. (Don't judge, hehe)

I miss being able to walk in small alleys and still feel safe.

Or the smell of fresh grass that I could literally sleep on in spring.

I miss snapping random shots with my SLR. Ironically, I don't capture as much anymore with the new camera.

I miss walking. Just walking and walking and walking around the city, hopping in and out of trams to get to my destination. I didn't need a car to be mobile then. Just myself and the public transport.
Here in Malaysia, it seems that your driving license is also your license to have a life. Screw up on your driving, chances are you wont have much of a life after all.

I really need to improve my driving skills and sense of direction. Driving alone tonight got me into a series of unfortunate events - Got lost, found the place, lost my parking ticket, got interrogated, paid fines, got lost again and finally found my way home.

Is it abnormal to hate driving alone so much?

2. A monthly bus ticket which allows us to travel cheaply & hassle-free using SUPERB public-transport....u name it bus, tram & train..

3. Movie marathon over the weekend

4. Lay-by scheme at most of shopping outlets (reserve what u like eventho allowance still not in...hehehe)
